Due to local disagreements, taxi drivers don't accept Uber and users aren't allowed to enter the resort either, so you'll have to stay outside the Live Aqua door and wait for a golf cart to arrive for the rest of the trip. However, if you're planning an extended stay in Punta Cana and have experience driving without following the rules, that's another consideration.
