The bedroom has a comfortable bed that overlooks the view, a small dining set, sofa and chair.
In our room they gave us a beach bag, however, our friends' room didn't have a beach bag. The patio is truly the highlight of the room, with a large bathtub, a large living room, and a dining set. We were on the second floor of building 6 (room 620) and had a small view of the ocean when we tilted the dining room toward the view. The Live Aqua has 8 dining options, including buffet breakfast.
There are three additional bars, one in the lobby, a sports bar and the Moonada on the third floor of the secondary restaurant building, close to the beach. We tried a wide variety of restaurants during our 4-night stay, as well as the room service. Sheishin (Japanese) We ate here the first night for sushi the first night and it wasn't edible. The sushi is prefabricated, like most of the food on the property, and is left to rest all day since it is prepared early.
They use canned tuna and canned salmon in sushi. There is no fresh fish, and that is unacceptable. We tried to order different dishes to find something that was decent, but everything went really wrong. We hear that hibachi is a little better.
However, the truth is that it wasn't good and I can't imagine that the hibachi would be much better since the sushi was so bad. Cool Fever (coffee shop) The coffee shop has great espresso drinks. They offer takeout food throughout the day, such as sandwiches, yogurt and pastries. In the evenings, they also have some snacks.
Sospiro (Italian) Italian food was good, approximately 3.5 stars. They had a good tomato and mozzarella salad, but the pasta generally lacked flavor, as was the meat. Unfortunately, if you have allergies, like a friend of mine, there's usually a lack of concern, something we noticed at this restaurant. They served mushroom soup to my friend, even though three different people asked her about allergies.
If I had been deathly allergic, this would have ended very differently. Miraflores (ceviche) Miraflores was by far the best restaurant in the hotel and, sadly, it's only open for lunch. They serve fresh fish ceviches and seafood dishes that are much better than any other establishment. They are also located in front of the beach, which is a beautiful setting.
We highly recommend their toast, ceviches and salads. Enjoy unparalleled elegance, glamor and luxury in a sophisticated retreat located on the golden sands of one of the most beautiful beaches in Punta Cana. The sand found in the far north is slightly more golden than the white sand found in Cap Cana (such as the Hyatt Ziva and Zilara Cap Cana) or further down in Punta Cana.
