Are there any restrictions on what can be included in an all-inclusive resort package?

In general, yes, all-inclusive rates include food and some alcohol, however, premium bottled spirits or wines usually have an additional cost. All-inclusive resorts include food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages. Some include 24-hour snacks and also 24-hour alcoholic beverages. However, some resorts may charge an additional fee for fine cuts of meat (for example, golf enthusiasts, green fees are covered at some Sandals resorts, such as Sandals Regency La Toc, which has a 9-hole par 33 course), the award-winning course designed by Greg Norman at the Sandals all-inclusive resort in Exuma (Bahamas) (18 holes, par 7) and the spacious 18-hole, par-71 golf course at the Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios (Jamaica).

Beaches is known and appreciated for being the best family vacation spot, and with properties in the Turks, Caicos Islands (26%) and Jamaica, these family-friendly all-inclusive resorts attract thousands of visitors from around the world every year. As for reservations, some resorts allow reservations to be made several days in advance, while others require that you make them on the same day. However, many resorts and travel booking websites offer vacation packages that include a combination of hotel, flight, and sometimes a rental car. In addition, all-inclusive resorts usually offer only a small glimpse into the local culture, although some offer tours and experiences to explore the destination.

All-inclusive vacations really allow you to disconnect and immerse yourself in the experience, and that certainly makes all the difference when relaxation comes into play. While it's not always what you'd expect, most past guests at all-inclusive resorts have found that the staff really appreciates the gesture and are often rewarded with extra attention. While we've had some disappointing experiences at large resorts with mediocre food and diluted beverages, we've also stayed at luxurious properties with phenomenal food, premium alcoholic beverages, and even spa treatments included in the rate. If they offer free tennis lessons and you don't play, your rate includes the expenses of the professional tennis player and the maintenance of the court.

At most Sandals resorts in Jamaica and the Bahamas, you'll find luxurious rooms with direct access to the pool, also known as River Pool suites. Wine and beer, along with basic mixed drinks, are generally included, and premium liquors and bottled wines usually have an additional cost.
