Keep in mind that some of the rooms at the Catalonia Punta Canas are located very close to the theater, which is quite centrally located and therefore not as isolated as in other Punta Cana resorts. However, the offer at the beach buffet is far from as extensive as the main buffet, although it is much more than what most beach snack restaurants at other all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana offer. All the prices in the table above correspond to the normal junior suite without privileges at the Catalonia Resort Punta Cana.
Catalonia Bávaro and Catalonia Bávaro Beach are also common names for this all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, respectively, in Cabeza de Toro. Another thing that completely surprised us, besides the supermodern Privilege level rooms for such a low price (at least during the low season), was the cuisine of Catalonia Punta Cana. If you are looking for an exclusive section for adults in Catalonia Punta Cana, you can book the Junior Suite Deluxe Privileged Romance. As we mentioned before and later in this review of Catalonia Punta Cana, it is worth booking a Privileged Junior Suite, since the surcharge is very low and the difference, especially in the quality of the room, enormous.
If you're coming from the rooms at Catalonia Punta Cana, you'll find a beautiful new juice bar on the right side of the beach. The Catalonia Royal Bavaro is the top-level tourist resort of both, as it tends to offer more exquisite cuisine (although this is only partly true, as you can see if you read my review of the Catalonia Royal Bavaro) and a higher level of service. In particular, the supermodern Privileged rooms, which aren't much more expensive than standard rooms, and the culinary diversity with great options for vegans and vegetarians (at least on the buffet) were just a few of the highlights of this Punta Cana all-inclusive resort. Across the beach from Catalonia Punta Cana, you'll find the beach bar, which includes a crêperie, which offers freshly prepared, sweet or savoury crepes.
