The usual rate for a private transfer from the airport to most all-inclusive resorts in the Bávaro area ranges from 25 to 35 USD each way. Transfers from the airport to Uvero Alto are usually a bit more expensive. Transfers to Cap Cana can be a bit cheaper, even the regular Bavaro fare is often charged. So far, other car rental experiences in Punta Cana have been positive, even Sixt didn't have a car for me, although I booked one, and for AmeriRent I had to wait half an hour until the counter was staffed.
You can book a private transfer from Punta Cana Airport to Bayahibe or opt for the Punta Cana Airport Transfer option, which also serves the La Romana area with Bayahibe. Grand Bavaro Princess is a resort in the center of Bávaro, perfectly located if you want to explore the nightlife of Punta Cana and the 12-mile-long Punta Cana beach. This beach isn't as long as Bávaro Beach, another part of the resort, Club Med Punta, but it has fine white sand and isn't big enough to worry about not seeing your children. However, if you're leaving one of Punta Cana's beautiful beaches, a local restaurant, or anywhere else that isn't a major tourist attraction, calling an Uber in Punta Cana is no problem.
