Created in 2004, Live Aqua is the first lifestyle hotel brand in Posadas. The Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana opened its doors on the north coast of Uvero Alto in February. Designed to appeal to all the senses, the 371-room Live Aqua luxury all-inclusive resort is for adults only. La Collection Resorts' Live Aqua brand opened its first resort in the Dominican Republic, Caribbean Journal reported.
The new Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana, for adults only, officially opened this week, the first new resort to open in the Caribbean so far this year. Live Aqua offers on-site antigen testing and travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, including COVID-19. On my last visit, at the end of last month, I arrived to inaugurate Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana, the newest hotel in The Resorts by Fiesta Americana Collection. Live music performances are often offered at night, although some guests think that the nightlife here isn't as lively as in other resorts; most don't mind, as they come here looking for a quiet stay. From the road, it seems that Live Aqua dominated the scene a few decades ago; the slightly inclined rectangular shape (actually curved) of the building, full of sharp lines and bright windows, is reminiscent of classic 80s architecture.
The new Live Aqua joins a portfolio of what are now seven resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean, including one in Cancun. The all-inclusive Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana, located on Uvero Alto Beach in Punta Cana, has a private beach, an infinity pool, a spa and seven restaurants run by Mexican chef Gerardo Rivera.
